Hi, this is kaitlyn. I'm an average 8th grader living in an apartment. i'm finding that life is a joke, and thats how you should take it.
Here is where i came from. I live in Nevada, have all my life. The old west where the education sucks, people hate change, and we cannot make up our minds. Now, i've lived in reno, the same apartments, for the last 13 goddamn years of my life.
When i was little, i was a frilly girlie persona, that changed in the Sixth grade. In the sixth grade, i was afraid of being different and standing out. I wanted to fit in, i was a follower, and wanted to be the popular one who was loved by everyone. i was searching for acceptance, and no matter what, i never found it. I looked and looked for it, searching, continuously making attempts to be like everyone else. here is what i learned, i wanted to be different from everyone else.
one day, i wanted to stand out, in a much different way. Thats when i decided to change myself into something I've always wanted to be. I've always loved the way rockers like kiss and motley crue showed themselves. I loved the way they looked and so i wanted to try and create my own character, the way Andy had done. Once BVB came out in 2008, i was in love, but i was still afraid to show my changes.
7th grade came around and i started to wear darker makeup. I wore it all around my eyes, but i still wasn't pleased with my character just yet. Although i had to wait a long time for my hair to be cut and dyed, i needed a change of clothes.
I got my skinny jeans, band tee's, studded belts, and gloves, tutus, and lots of other things like fishnets and boots. I hate my wardrobe but something else was missing. The attitude?
What I've found is that there is no attitude along with a specific "stereo type". With each person wearing the "look," came a different person, a different person who loved different things. I sitll have my creative and visual soul i always was. I was shy, and still a bit of a follower. however i found my skin, my character. i found Kaitlyn; myself.
The person today is the "rocker" look, with the "scene, or Emo" hair, but there really is no stereo types because everyone is different and unique. So there you go, there is me.
Kaitlyn the painter, the piano and guitar player, the artist, the writer, and the nerd.
Find who you are because you are all Unique!
